This heavily themed park is based off of Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean movie trilogy and features 3 themed areas as well as 6 thrilling attractions! Now sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey across the seven seas to experience this amazing park!
Welcome to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Park! Just up ahead you can see the park's docks. Prepare to disembark and enjoy your day at the park!
As you enter the park you will see the park's first attraction, Davy Jones: The Ride. Riders will board circular free spinning trains, and will be launched up to speeds of 31 mph, and a max angle of 90 degrees!
After advancing into the park, visitors are given the option to explore 3 areas. Ship Wreck's Galley (where you will find Cannon, a Huss Top Spin, as well as Davey Jones: The Ride), Junior Lagoon, or Black Pearl Bay.
Buck-Eye, Junior Lagoon's main attraction, is a family coaster that will take riders through an old pirate village.
Now we enter Black Pearl Bay, home of the park's star attraction, Black Pearl, as well as Storm, a variation of the classic "Twist" attraction found at many amusement parks.
The Black Pearl is a high speed ‘Water Coaster’ themed to none other than the ship that started it all. Riders will board boats sitting 4 abreast. Here you can see the lift hill as well as the drop into the tunnel before the splash finale.
The Black Pearl will take riders up to speeds of 58 mph, and into a splash finale. Notice: You will get wet!
After a long day at the park, it's finally time to head back into civilization. Before we leave though, let's take one last look at this great park.
